July 2024 Update - Ernie’s MS Journey
Here is where Ernie’s at on his MS Journey as we are 2 months away from the 1 year anniversary of his HSCT procedure that he did in Puebla, Mexico AND come to The Tranzac on August 11 from 5 to 7 pm (292 Brunswick Avenue, Toronto) to hear the beautiful music Ernie has been composing since he got back to Toronto 💕

Ernie’s June 9 concert at The Southern Cross has to be postponed to Sunday, August 11 from 5 to 7 pm featuring his tunes that he composed since he had his stem cell therapy. It’s all good news - Ernie and Maryem were invited to do a showcase with their group, Al Qahwa, in Medellín, Colombia. From Ernie - "I'm not really supposed to go out much for another month or two on account of the chemo (HSCT in Mexico for MS) so I've been practicing alto sax and writing lots of tunes. I did a few recordings overdub sessions on flute/sax which was super fun. I want to do some arranging too which should be fun. Also I tried to clean organize the basement studio - that'll only take until forever...
